What has been going on since my last post?
Well, there was my final semester in uni.
SC 2-14
And then there was Fragments.
Too bad I don't have a photo of the lightbulbs.
Then exams.
Ah, those were the days.
Then Camp Cameron.
Family Activities
FlyNewsNetwork: Our daily dose of CC happenings with Sarjan Major Bulat :D
Chalet 11 :)
Then Church Camp.
Silly Dorm poses :P
Then organizing my shelf and books. (it's a big thing, okay)
Guess my favourite author. haha.
My good friends: dictionaries.
Notes, notes and ...
...more notes!
This is what it looks like. For now.
And most recently, Melaka.
Historical buildings
+ Good food = Melaka
In between those events were the Final Year Retreat, writing my thesis, Bukit Cinta and Rimba Ilmu, outings to Old Town Kopitiam, Upekka, Parent's Night, Scrabble, Carynn darling, warehouse sales, and lotsa bumming around the house. :P

This has been the most productive holidays I've had so far.
Right after my last paper, I drove back to Klang with Swee Zsuan who was coming for a short stay. I enjoyed myself thoroughly, especially the movie. (Madagascar 2 was hillarious!)
After that, what did I do? Oh ya! The OA kids from Kg. Dusun Seratus came down for a short weekend stay in Klang. There was 11 of them and we had a great time playing games and eating together. They put up a great performance for us too during the Worship Service.
And right after that, I went to Camerons fro my last PKV Camp. Truthfully, I didn't wanna go coz I was so tired after all the activities, plus I thouroughly dislike the journey up and down (I get nauseous), but I went anyway, and I'm glad I did. I had a really enjoyable time with fellow PKV-ians and most importantly learnt a lot from Mr. Lian our speaker.
This week has been less busy, i.e. MORE TIME TO HIBERNATE!! xD
But with the extra time on my hands, I have realised that this might be my last long holiday ever. Next sem will be my final semester and after that...no more sem breaks! :(
Although I do plan to further my studies, its not something thats confirmed yet. Its subject to whether I get a scholarship or not. So, if I don't get a scholarship then I'll just work.
I can't imagine myself working. Seriously, I can't. LOL.
Oh and speaking about the future. I'll be alone next semester. Soon Ching is now in Japan and soon, Annie will be going off to Mexico for a year. I'm so sad. *sigh* This brings the number of people in my class to a grand total of *drumroll* ... 2 !! Yes. Two. Dua. Dos.
I'm happy for her la, of course. But I'm sad too. I'll be so lonely. *sigh* But I'll be occupied with so many things that *hopefully* I won't feel it. (Soon Ching you better come for my convo okay)
Speaking of the future, now let's talk about the past semester.
Well for one thing, I thank God that I survived the last sem. I think I was crazy when I registered for so many courses. Almost pengsan-ed doing all the assignmnets for each course. I thought that was bad but, boy! studying was worse. No dout I learnt a lot this semester but I will never, never take so many academic electives again.
How bad was it? Let's see.
Spanish Discourse
Spanish Syntax
Spanish Translation
Spanish Literature
Spanish Culture
Bahasa dan Makna
Bahasa dan Masyarakat
Bahasa dan Gender
Psycholinguistics
Photography
10 Subjects! Did I mention I was crazy?
But hey! I survived! I even survived 20 days straight in college during the study break and the exam period.
Now, its the time to wait for my results to come out. Argh. I.hate.this.part.
So back to my 'productive holidays' train of thought...The next activity is next week, when Thyana flies back from Melbourne. Haven't seen her in 5 years. Imagine that! So I guess we'll be busy catching up and hang out. heheh. :)
And after that, my family (sans brother coz he didn't wanna join us) will be going to Chiang Mai for a vacation. Yeah I know the situation there is quite tough, but hopefully it'll settle down soon la.
Then there's Christmas!! And there's the Christmas choir too.
If you wanna catch our presentation and also the speaker Mr. Lian Mung Yee , come and join us on Christmas morning 10a.m. (I think) at PKGH.
p.s.: I can imagine Heba and Caning reading my blog post and saying no fluidez, no cohesion etc haha. oh well.

I just realised a trend in my blogging...I usually blog after my holidays. haha. I wonder why. Oh well. Take it or leave it.
Half the semester has passed. The mid-sem break has also come and gone. Tomorrow, classes start again. *sigh*
But nevermind, next Monday is a HOLIDAY!! hahahahahahah :P
Anyway, Iba Unplugged is also over and done with, and as usual, our rehearsals were much better than our live performance. My hand was shaking so badly that at one point, I used both my hands to hold the mic. Like seriously.
Sommore so many things went wrong. We didn't get to do our sound check, we forgot the kapo (Bel almost ran out of things to say to delay the time),I forgot to bring my water, resulting in a phlegm-y throat and sandy voice yada yada yada.
However, many things went right as well. The band managed to get there on time, our church members also reached early, Mr. Anand came, we enjoyed the other performances (well done ppl!), Mr. Lian gave a good message, and overall, I must congratulate the organizers on their good planning and being able to stay sane with the demands of 7 bands!
As for our performance, the first song went well but the second song....could have been better la. LOL. I, for one, kelam-kabut-ed when it came to the last chorus of the Avalon song. Tak sampai the key. DIE. Itulah, lupa bawa air. -_-"' Sommore nervous giler. Sommore the key so high. Sommore I'm an alto and singer is like a super-soprano. Add sommore nerves. *crashhhhh* ahahahah.
Nevertheless, we did our best and that's most important to God. Like our name, Iris, we are to reflect God's glory and not ours. We managed to gain experience and will work on the things pointed out by the judges.
Oh ya, we had the cutest cheerleader la. Chung Wei came with his little sign that said, "PKGH Iris" with a smiley. From the stage I could see the sign but his mom was holding it coz he was too busy doing the air-drum thing. LOL.
Okay la, this is all. Need to go do some work before I go to church and back to 9th college yang tak ber-internet. :( No wonder UM's ranking dropping. *sigh*

Well, this being my last week of holidays, I shall honour it with a blog entry
I'm happy that classes will be starting soon. Yes, HAPPY. Two months of holidays can make you feel happy/glad/elated to go to class. At least my existence will be more than just bumming around the house.
but,
I'm feeling nervous about moving back to college. Since I don't get to choose my roommates, I'm worried about what kind of roommates I'll get. eh, not easy to live with each other if we can't get along you know.
However, the plus side of moving back to college is that I won't need to drive everyday from Klang to UM and back. (except when I drive there on Monday and back on Friday). That's a burden lifted of my shoulders. AND being in my final year, I get to get a sticker from uni that allows me to drive in secara terang-terang without fear that the guard will stop and question me. :P
I thank God that he has granted me something that I have really wanted for a long long time. :D hahahahah. I finally made it to the Dean's List. yay!!
But one thing I'm not so excited about going back to uni is: CrazyWoman. Annie knows why.
Today in The Star, it was reported that people have been stealing petrol from cars parked outside houses in residential areas. Where is this place where ppl steal petrol from cars you ask? Where else? KLANG la. If Malaysia boleh, KLANG lagi boleh.
Oh and that day during our RBS04 reunion, they made me introduce myself in Spanish. It hit me that I haven't been speaking for so long (last time was the DELE oral exam) and I'm getting more karat-ed.
The other day, I thought I saw Yat Tuang in Aeon. But I just got a glimpse of this girl coz I was drinking water and happened to turn my head at that moment. The next moment, she was gone. So I thought, she's supposed to be in Australia now, couldn't be her la. Just someone that looks like her. Mana tau when I went out with Shaleen and Zhu-Jinn, Shaleen said she's back. Well, if it really was you, sorry I didn't say hi. :(

My current uni break has been peppered with happy and sad incidences.
It hasn't been uneventful, although I wished it would have had, because sometimes, no news is good news.
Oh well...
On another note, my face has improved, and I didn't need to go for a series a facials to clear it up. Not being stressed just does the trick for me. (haha, save $$)
What else have I been doing this hols?
-I finally sat for the DELE.
-Learnt some more guitar from my dad.
-Met up with my friends.
-Went to the elephant sanctuary and the other petting zoo nearby.
-Oh ya, THE most important thing I have done this time round was to clean my room AND closet. (Closet space is like real estate to me. Not that I have a lot of clothes, just that my sister has too many books. Yes, she keeps her books from eons ago in our closet.)
- Oh and I almost forgot...I turned 22 this hols. lol. I guess I AM getting old. How else could I have forgotten?
