Food Glorious Food!

So, Chinese New Year is just around the corner and the feasting will be kick-started with the family reunion dinner this Wednesday. Its only natural that when a person mentions CNY, the first thing that comes to mind is eat, eat and eat. We somehow think we eat A LOT only during CNY. But deep deep down we all know that it's not true, isnt' it?

Take myself for example.

Crab

More crab in all their kam heong-y goodness
:D

Bak Kut Teh

Pure unadulterated Bak Kut Teh
My dad doesn't believe in BKT in a claypot. He says the taste is different with all the other ingredients. read: not nice

Rojak buah
oh and the kuih in the background

Huge bowl of ais kacang (which I shared with Belinda)

That's Bel's hand

A bowl of meehoon sup

Well, the crab was a treat. But the rojak, ais kacang and meehoon sup, that's what we have on our monthly trips to Kg. Dusun Seratus...for lunch.

Right, so if anyone interested in food items in pictures 6-9, feel free to join us on our monthly trips to OA. You'll get to teach the kids a Sunday School lesson or two, or help in song leading too!

Coming back to the topic though, as you can see, whether its is CNY or not, we, or in this case I, actually eat as much or more.

*gasp*
